So what’s the difference?
Well I’m not technically sure what the actual difference is but over the past 5 weeks and more so the past 31hrs I’ve started to think we now fall into the adventurers category more. We have experienced numerous individual challenges which are not usually part of expedition planning, challenges that called for skills not necessarily gained by hours on the mountain, challenges that until now, until a world pandemic we would have thought sat in the realms of Hollywood movies not 2 Cumbrians. I’m writing this whilst sat in a rather cramped PIA flight (Pakistani Airways) 31hrs after leaving my house for the airport with Pete. We have both had to show tremendous strength of character and motivation to continue when it seemed everyone was against us, Flights, admin, security, everything seemed to just trip us up and go against the grain. 6 flight cancellations in the space of 1 week. I am, for the first time in 5 weeks expecting to be in Pakistan in a few hours where with our good friend Sakhi (Summit Karakorum) we can start the mountaineering rather than adventuring. Thank you for the amazing “Bond like” skills of integrity 87 ltd (Seany) you have turned the impossible into, well almost the achievable

Get out of the sun before you burst into flames lol. Seriously so happy you're both there and have the opportunity to do this. I'll be sending out positive intentions to the universe for you both and your journeys.
