Phase one has been set up to assist veterans, Mental and physical health, wellbeing and re-engagement, due to experiencing mental and or physical trauma. We accomplish this by immersing them in the therapeutic application of rural skills and experiencing daily farm life at Piper hole, therefore improving the lives of those affected by service. The skills and Knowledge gained can include dry stone walling, traditional country crafts, hedging, cheese making, orchard environmental management and many more. Each experience lasts between two and four days, whatever you think you can manage. Accommodation, showers, toilets and cooking facilities provided on site.
Our experiences will offer you the chance to do something completely different, potentially learn new skills and trades, share time with like minded others who also understand and appreciate your experiences, give you time to think and appraise your situation, help you in the recovery process, giving positive outcomes and building confidence preparing you for your lifes next adventure. This phase of the experience is part funded by the National lottery community fund
