Under guidance of guest staff Day 2 0800hrs Reveille Option 1 0900hrs - 1030hrs Prepare and cook breakfast over camp fire 1030hrs - 1100hrs Wash up 1100hrs - 1330hrs Activities of choice x 2 1330 - 1430 Lunch 1430hrs - 1700hrs Activities of choice x 2 Option 2 0700hrs Reveille 0800hrs - 0930hrs Prepare and cook breakfast over camp fire Pack lunches made 0930hrs - 1000hrs Wash up 1000hrs - Depart camp for full day walk & navigation training (location depends on transport provided by AWS, if by coach drop off then local walk from camp. If mini busses then Old Man of Coniston or other classic lake land walk, in accordance to ability of group) Return to camp once walk complete Prepare and cook evening meal over camp fire Wash up evening meal cooking equipment Camp fire discussions / games / free time Bed time ? Under guidance of AWS staff Day 3 080hrs Reveille 0900hrs - 1030hrs Prepare and cook breakfast over camp fire 1030hrs - 1200hrs Wash up cooking equipment Pack personal equipment Debrief Return to pick up point.
All timings are subject to change due to weather and transport, also Woodland Xperiences thrives on providing these activities to promote self wellbeing and engagement.
Activities available in and from camp: Archery, target shooting, axe throwing, atlatl throwing, forgotten woodland skills (fire lighting, use of tools, carving, trapping, game prep) slack line, navigation training and various other woodland games. Low level walks can take place from base camp. If transport permits then higher more challenging walks can be had within the Lake District only 30 minute drive away.
