Why not join us for a 2 night Woodland experience. Join in with our woodland and adventurous activities at and around the local area of our unique farm based camp. Arrive from 1900hrs on a Friday ready for an introduction brief at 2030hrs. While awaiting others to arrive you could be moving into one of the pre-erected tents or setting up a tent or hammock and tarp in our camp wood, comfort is key, so bring your own tent if you desire. After the brief it's time to relax around the fire and chat away with a brew or 4 before retiring. After breakfast (cooked by yourselves or the children) it's time to explore and make use of the local area or hang around camp, but just relax and reflect. Time for lunch then it's activity time lead at your pace between chatting and endless brews as the kettle is always on. We don't believe in a schedule of events/activities, activities are used to create fun between all participants which then unknowingly promotes conversation. Those who wish to be more adventurous then a drive to our water activities base could be on, depending on weather ect. (predicted Friday evening) This will allow us to use paddle boards and have some water based fun, or maybe a group walk out of camp and onto the local Howgills. Just make sure your prepared for all activities. On return evening meal is prepared and cooked by all again over the open fire. Please inform us of all food allergies, tolerances and preferences, however it's wise to be prepared so bring something just in case we can't amend the menu (so ensure it is mentioned on the consent form) All camps are bespoke to the group so turn up and be ready..to create good memories and discuss experiences with other like minded veterans at your leisure..whether it's during an activity, having a brew or around the fire. After sleeping in the last breakfast is made and more brews before squeezing in another potential activity before the debrief and sadly departing at 1200hrs for home. You WILL leave refreshed, re-centered, Re-directed, calm and ready for whatever life brings next with new Brothers or Sisters to help you on your future journey.
Walk & Talk camp The only difference with this camp compared to the others is that on the Saturday morning after cooking breakfast we shall travel to a local fell/mountain and spend the day out trying to achieve whatever we decide, depending on weather and group ability. Upon return it will be camp as usuall. Cooking your evening meal over the fire and relax in great company, depending on the time there may be some woodland activities in the evening and sunday morning before departure.
Family Camps
Mums...Dads...Children come join the fun with other service families. Recapture all those lost Days, Hours, and minutes from being away on tour or duties. Embrace the safe conversational environment as family time is key to every stable relationship and bonding with your children. Embrace the woodland and adventurous activities together, learn together and be together.
When the younger ones decide to sleep it's time to relax and chat around the fire. Tell and share your stories and experiences. Sometimes our truest feelings are withheld and are screaming to be let out...Now is that opportunity. Nature doesn't judge!
